Often you only need part of a PDF: the signed page of a contract, one chapter of an e-book, or the pages of a statement that your accountant asked for. With PDF4U you click the pages you want – or type ranges like 2, 5-7 – and get exactly those pages in a new file. The original PDF stays unchanged.
You can save the chosen pages together as one PDF, or get each page as a separate PDF, ready to download one by one or as a ZIP file. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their full quality.
The extraction runs in your browser on your own device. Your file is not uploaded, which keeps private documents private and makes the tool fast even with large PDFs.
Typical uses: send only the relevant pages of a bank statement with a loan application, take one chapter out of a long manual for a colleague, or keep the answer key out of a worksheet. Because the pages are copied rather than printed again, text stays searchable and links on the page keep working.

Frequently asked questions
Does extracting pages change my original PDF?
No. PDF4U creates a new file with the selected pages. Your original PDF is not modified.
How do I select many pages quickly?
Type ranges in the “Pages” field, for example 1-10, 15, 20- (20- means page 20 to the last page), or click “Odd pages” or “Even pages”. The previews update as you go.
Can I get every selected page as its own file?
Yes. Choose “One PDF per page” before extracting. You can then download the files one by one or all together as a ZIP.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The pages are extracted by your browser on your device. Nothing is sent to a server – see our privacy policy.
Will the extracted pages keep their quality?
Yes. Pages are copied without re-compressing, so text, images and links on the page look exactly like the original. Bookmarks of the original document are not carried over.
What's the difference between extracting and splitting?
Extracting gives you only the pages you pick. Split PDF cuts the whole document into several parts, for example every 5 pages.
Can I extract pages from a PDF on my phone?
Yes. Tap the pages you want, or type the page numbers. PDF4U works in current browsers on Android and iPhone, so you don’t need an app.
